Your projects and tasks stay mastered in NetSuite. The connector brings them into the app as projects and activities, and keeps them in step.
Where the data comes from
Either from SuiteProjects Pro, the NetSuite professional-services module, through its REST API, or from projects and project tasks in core NetSuite through SuiteTalk REST and SuiteQL. Authentication is OAuth 2.0 with your own integration record; no password leaves your side.
What arrives in the app
Projects with their customer, tasks as activities under the project, billable flags where NetSuite has them. Rows match on the NetSuite id, so a renamed project renames in the app and a re-import never creates a duplicate. Values you set locally, such as colours or billing defaults, survive re-imports.
Good to know
- Field names for billable tasks differ between NetSuite accounts and are verified against your metadata catalogue during installation
- The connector works within NetSuite's API limits and re-imports incrementally
- Hours stay in the app or go to Odoo; a write-back of hours into NetSuite is not part of this connector
