Privacy policy

1. Controller

Acunomic GmbH, Leutschenbachstrasse 95, 8050 Zürich, Switzerland, timely@acunomic.com, is responsible for the processing described here under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies to visitors from the European Economic Area, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. This website

The website runs on Odoo Online, operated by Odoo S.A., Belgium, as our hosting provider and processor. When you visit, the server records the technical data any web request carries: IP address, time, page requested, browser and operating system identifiers, and the referring page. This serves the delivery and security of the site (legitimate interest). Server logs are retained by the provider for a limited period for security purposes.

The site sets essential cookies only, described in the cookie policy. Optional cookies for campaign attribution are set only after your consent in the cookie bar. There is no analytics service and no advertising.

Downloads are hosted on GitHub. When you download an installer, GitHub, Inc. processes your request under its own privacy statement.

3. Contact and licence request forms

What you enter in a form is sent by email to our mailbox and used to answer your request or prepare an offer (performance of pre-contractual steps at your request). We keep the correspondence for as long as the request is open and thereafter as business correspondence for ten years where Swiss commercial law requires it, otherwise we delete it. Spam protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile, which evaluates technical signals of your browser without tracking you across sites.

4. The apps

The timely.you apps store all data locally on your device. Acunomic GmbH receives none of it and operates no telemetry. When you connect a calendar, Microsoft Teams, Odoo or another source, the app communicates directly with that service using your own account, under that provider's terms. The update check requests a small version manifest from GitHub; GitHub sees your IP address for that request. If you push entries to an Odoo instance, the operator of that Odoo instance is the controller for the data stored there.

If you record time for or about other people, for example members of your household or your team, you are responsible for informing them and, where required, obtaining their consent.

5. Recipients and transfers

Odoo S.A. (hosting), Cloudflare, Inc. (spam protection), GitHub, Inc. (downloads and update manifests). Where data leaves Switzerland or the EEA, we rely on the recipient's contractual safeguards, in particular standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You may request information about the data we hold about you, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing, and, where the GDPR applies, portability and the right to object. Write to timely@acunomic.com. You may complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or, in the EEA, to your supervisory authority.

7. Changes

We adapt this policy when the site or the apps change. The version published here applies.
