Getting started
1. Install
Download from the download page and follow the Windows or Android guide. On first launch the app creates a local database and a first user profile.
2. People and formats
User Settings holds your language (British English or Swiss German), date format, number format and time zone. Several people can share one installation; switch the active profile in the same place.
3. Projects and activities
Settings → Projects. A project has a type (work, private, public holiday, vacation, absence), an optional customer and a billable default. Activities sit under a project and may override the billable flag. Prefer importing an existing structure? See work-structure import or the Odoo connector.
4. Work calendar
Settings → Work calendars. Choose weekly hours, daily targets with expected breaks, or shift profiles. Calendars carry a validity period, so a contract change is a new version. Public holidays for the canton of Zürich are seeded; auto-approval of holiday entries is per person.
5. Record a week
Time entries → Week → Grid. Drag on the grid to create an entry; pin a project in the Record-as bar to record directly. Double-click or long-press an entry to edit it. Start and End share a row in the dialog; Duration is their alternative. Add a description the customer may read and, if needed, an internal comment nobody else will.
6. Check the day
Tasks lists under-target days, missing descriptions, unsubmitted drafts and break shortfalls under the Labour Act rules, plus your flex balance. Reminders at your chosen times point you back here.
7. Submit, approve, convert
Entries move from draft to submitted to approved. Billing → Convert turns approved actual entries into billable rows by your conversion rules. Review, then mark rows as exported for billing to lock them.
8. Export
Time entries, billable rows and the audit trail export to CSV from their pages, in the formats set in User Settings. Or push approved entries to Odoo through the connector. Open points are collected in the questions and answers; the website terms and the licence agreement cover the rest.
